Designed to encourage discussion and collaborative learning, our Come Alive Stories software offers children a variety of ways to interact with the story and characters.  Children love the lively rhyming story and song and will quickly learn to join in with the familiar chorus – ‘run, run, run as fast as you can, you can’t catch me, I’m the Gingerbread Man!’  They’ll show you how much story language they’ve learned as they move characters around on screen and retell the story, choosing what role to take in recreating the drama.  This interactive CD-ROM also includes games and activities linked to the story, interactive non-fiction text and a teacher resource bank including all the story and character images in popular whiteboard software.

Better still, there are hands-on resources to complement this software so you can use it to enhance the learning and language that is happening elsewhere – in the block play area with the Gingerbread Man wooden figure set or in the book corner with the Gingerbread Man sing and play book pack.
